With A Kiddush

At Adas Israel, we make every effort to have a Kiddush every Shabbos. It is a way that our members in our various Minyanim get together to socialize following davening. At Kiddush time, we look forward to sharing each other's simchas, such as Bar or Bat Mitzvah, marriage, new child or grandchild, birthdays, anniversaries or other joyous events. However, Kiddush is often used as a time for remembering our loved ones, at the time of their Yartzeits. Both in times of joy and sorrow Kiddush has a way of uniting us.

If you would like to be a "Kiddush Sponsor", please contact our office to choose a date for your Kiddush and to receive a copy of our price list, at 973-773-7272. We offer several options for sharing your special day with friends and family. Please ask about our Simcha Rentals as well. Our lovely facilities are available for private parties in addition to our Congregational Kiddush.

There are times, when things are quiet. It is for then that we have established our "Kiddush Fund", which helps to offset our costs when we have no Kiddush Sponsors. All donations to the Kiddush Fund are welcome. Please make your check payable to Congregation Adas Israel and send it to our address, 565 Broadway, Passaic, NJ 07055.

Sponsoring Seudah Shlishiet is another way to mark your special occasion or a Yartzeit. Please contact our office for further details.
